My youngest, Lucy, is in the learn-a-word-a-day phase. Today’s word was “bus”. She was sitting in her chair, looked down at the floor, pointed, and started repeating “bus” until I figured out what she was saying. Once I did I laughed, which caused her to smile and giggle.
She then proceeded to repeat “bus” over and over again for the next 20 minutes. Gotta… bus… repeat that… bus… new word… bus… otherwise I’ll forget it. Bus, bus, bus.
