Science Podcast, Episode 11 – How GPS Works

In this episode, Katherine, CJ, and I do a little "light" work, and go through the basics of GPS.

After we recorded the audio track, I realized I had made a small error in calculating the average distance.  The math shows 269.6 feet, but I think (if I remember my significant figures correctly), I should have rounded to 3 significant digits, in this case, to 270 feet.  On the video, I mention the distance as simply “269 feet”, dropping the point-6 completely.  Totally my fault.
